2. Mexico-US politics update

In political news, Mexico’s President Enrique Peña Nieto issued a statement to Mexicans about their relationship with the United States with Donald Trump’s constant comments. Peña Nieto warned Trump directly, “We will not allow negative rhetoric to define our actions”.  You can watch the full, quite interesting statement here.

3. Nature - Mexican salamanders

Katie Garrett, a Natural Science filmmaker, wrote this great blog post about Axolotls, a type of salamander in Mexico, “Axolotls are really fascinating not only due to their developmental biology, but also their ecology and cultural significance”

4. Frida Khalo exhibition

Last but not least for out compilation, tickets are now available for the Victoria & Albert exhibition, “Frida Khalo: Making Herself Up”.
